New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn!  If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you.  This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic!  (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)

New!  The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

Welcome to Stitchboard!  Feel free to sit and stay awhile.  Check out our new Premier features.  In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request!  We have many more features planned, too!  Laughing

Chris,
My guess is what you're trying to do is to create a pattern using regular crochet stitches. This won't work for C2C, which is not available at this time. Unfortunately, regular crochet stitches are rectangular and not square, and if used for C2C may not make for a good result. So yes, you'll get a very, very large pattern if you attempt to do it that way.

Sorry if this has been answered before, but a newbie to the site here. I have created a few patterns but how can i make my graph and pattern run side to side and not bottom to top?

Tribble,

Clear tape, duct tape...so many things that can be solved with tape, wouldn't you say?  Wink

I agree...I prefer following a single very large page as opposed to even just a few smaller ones.

Enjoy!  Kiss

Let me introduce myself. My name is Gina and I have only been crocheting for about a year and 1/2. My best friend taught me over Skype. I am a Breast Cancer patient Stage IV and I really needed something to keep my mind busy. I am no longer able to work and I needed to find something to keep me busy before I lost my mind!!!! So she (Charleen) had given me a list of things I needed and I went to my local Michael's and stocked up. I also bought things for looming. She taught me that as well.
I now make little baby dresses and such and I make Breast Cancer hats complete with the pink ribbon and either sell them and I also donate them to my Cancer Treatment Center in Chicago. I have to travel there every month for treatments and CT scans and PET scans and all the lovely things that go with cancer (not really lovely because cancer sucks) just trying to lighten the mood lol.
I have 3 beautiful children 2 women and 1 son. And the apple of my eye Amos Jeremiah my one and only Grand Baby. He is 2 now and I wrap my exsistence around this precious child. I call him my Dumpling! And he loves it!
Are we bored yet? LOL. I have a 5 year old Female Brindle Boxer who's name is Goddess Athena. And she is my little baby. Well she's a 67 pound baby lol. I am married to a Mail Man. But I mostly spend my time alone here at home and I crochet my fingers off lol. Anyway, I think that's enough boring things!

Love and Prayers to you all <3 Gina
