New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Hi.
When you say the black is too dark, are you referring to not being able to see the grid lines on the pattern because it uses black lines?
If it would help, I could add a "Grid Color" option so if you have a lot of dark colors, you could set a light-colored grid line.
If it's that the red and black are hard to tell apart, would turning on symbols help?
Let me know. We'll see if we can get it working for you.

So happy I found this site! I have been crocheting (or as my friends and I call it "hooking" lol) for almost 3 years and wish I would of started years and years ago.
I am 46 just recently became a SAHW due to some health problems. I want to take my crocheting to a new level and do graphgans.
My husband and I have been married almost 26 years and have 3 grown kids and 4 beautiful grandbabies on earth and one in Heaven!!We live on a very touristy island in Northern MI.
I look forward to chatting with lots of you!! And learning lots...
I do have one question though..Is there a way to take a picture and delete the background before you submit it to be transferred into a pattern?
Can anybody tell me please, where I find the colours I need to use for my graph please, I'm very new to this many thanks
I posted a FREE knitting book for Kindle for today...grab it before it's gone! (Note: you do not need to have an actual Kindle. If you have a smartphone, you can download a Kindle reader app for FREE...if all you have is a PC, you can download to your PC...and I believe there may also be a way now of completely bypassing any kind of reader app to read directly online - though please don't quote me on that, as I'm not sure. I find the PC reader to be quite decent for pattern content...since I don't own a Kindle, I can't say how well it works...but I would think a smaller screen would make patterns kind of difficult to read.)
