New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn!  If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you.  This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic!  (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)

New!  The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

Welcome to Stitchboard!  Feel free to sit and stay awhile.  Check out our new Premier features.  In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request!  We have many more features planned, too!  Laughing

Hi,

This was a known problem, especially when manually choosing colors.  I've corrected it in the next version and am trying to finish all the other testing soon.

I want to get the next version enabled asap because I have some new features to also finish testing so I can turn them on too.

I'm pretty much down to two issues to correct and then will make the update.

Terry

Nanaz,

Great questions!  Smile  No worries, you're not doing anything wrong!

First, are you talking about using a word chart?

You're correct that we've added the "I am left handed" option.

As for the correctness, I've alerted Terry (Support) to your message.  I believe a recent update may have caused the left handed option to stop working properly at times, so this is why I've handed this to Terry.  Please bear with us!  Smile

Regarding your question about reading a pattern, if you're talking about a graph, you'd read it normally; which is the same thing you've mentioned in both A and B above.  You do turn your work at the end of each row.  And since you're left handed, your work is odd/even.  Your odd rows are working from left to right and your even rows are working from right to left.  However, if you're talking about a word chart, then you would follow it as given, which is written to follow as the B option for you, if that's clear.  Smile

As for the current correctness of the left handed charts, as I said, please bear with us so I can determine if they're correct or not.  I'd hate to have you frog and start your project again!

Oh my goodness, those are so adorable. I have one I wanted to crochet a bowser (mario brothers) for my turtle shell (a real one) Been gonna crochet a turtle body to put inside it also, but havn't gotten to that yet what with all my other projects. I need more time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

where do i get the word chart ??

Hi, all! My name is Kirsten. I have been a member for about a year now and I'm totally embarrassed, but I never took the time to say hi! Please forgive me! I am an avid cross-stitcher and I absolutely love this "Pattern Wizard". I haven't done much cross stitching lately because I am amassing a slew of patterns. I need to get off of this computer and start stitching again, but whenever I find a pic I want to transform it into a pattern. My tastes are Scandinavian cottage chic (Nissen, Uff Da, etc.). Well thanks for listening and again I'm sorry for not doing this sooner!
