New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Thank you for your reply. I am thinking about purchasing some grid paper and creating my own grid to follow, and of cource creating a swatch to get my gauge.
De'Andrea,
I understand...I wouldn't be able to remember anything from 16 years ago, either...I can barely remember what I had for dinner last night!
You know, I bet a whip stitch would do the trick, even if that's not the way you actually did it on those particular pieces!
So did you also find it tedious to do your own framing? Ugh, just doing the stitching to make the fabric lay perfectly flat was sooooooooooo difficult...I still have nightmares about it! (Not really...but almost!)
I think that's a lovely idea, to practice with your regular satins...and koi and lotus blossoms are such beautiful things to practice!
I disagree...your work is beautiful and if you can combine pieces so well AND add your own elements...that's pretty amazing! I definitely think you have what it takes to be a designer!
What kinds of beading patterns did you make available...I'd actually be interested! Do you know the name of the group offhand? I may already be a member...though I haven't been in the FB groups in ages...just too much to do, sigh. Boo to real life for getting in the way of fun things like beading!
On my beading pdfs, I used to have a full pattern image on the first page which showed what my pattern would look like. In other words, it showed the little squares for individual beads which was helpful to see what my finished pattern would actually look like. Now, when I get my pdf, it is just the jpg image I uploaded. How do I make the pattern image appear on the pdf - I don't know if I accidentally unclicked something.
Melanie,
I can draw a bit.. But we have these overhead projectors (if you know what they are). You simply put something in it, that is printed on transparent plastic, and they you turn the maschine on, and you will now see the pattern on your wall.. You can now simply draw after the shadows that the maschine is casting..
Lavender is a beautiful color.. I wouldn't dare paint an entire room in that color (but only because I would be afraid I wanted to change it shortly after)..
I'm not in to the almost white, but not white colors either.. They all look the same.. o.O
Oh come on, we both know it's your biggest dream.. A brothel like room in your house.. :p You can even complete the look by installing red lamps and so on :p LOOOOOL
Oh the dark color in the bedroom.. My mother has this beautiful, almost black, dark gray in her bedroom.. All white furniture.. I love it..
The room gets a lot of natural light, so it doesn't seem dark dark, if you know what I mean..
Glad you like the sweaters.. They are all knitted by my mother
I have a ton more, but the boys grew out of them..
She made one with a dachshund going all around the waist once.. Super cute..

Hugs
Looking forward to the updates, Terry!
Thanks for the headsup and here's hoping everything goes smoothly!!
