Description:

Notes:
This square motif is a twist on the simple Granny. You can use whatever scrap yarn you have on hand but the finished work may need blocking. I’ve used bright colours with a white background. All my yarn is Red-heart. For the example, the variegated yarn I’ve used Red-heart Comfort, Neon. For those people unfamiliar with making Granny Squares I’ve started with the basic pattern. My Grandma always taught me to start every round of a Granny square from the corner so I’ve written the pattern to reflect that.
