To all of you cake designers/decorators...welcome to Stitchboard! We realize that stitchers often have non-stitching interests that are still in the crafting area, so if you think of any that you'd like to discuss here, please let us know, and we'll consider adding it!

I admit to knowing very little about this topic, but am eager to learn! In the late '80s, I did sit in on a few classes, and even learned how to make a "sideways" rose (kind of half a rose), but wouldn't be able to remember that at all today, unfortunately. Sad

Anyway, feel free to discuss in this new area - and enjoy!

would you like to see some of the cakes i've made over the last 14 years? since leaving the army i deisgned and made custom cakes for people i had my own business but i've now had to sell the shop due to my health ever since shay and i were small i've always had a passion for baking we grew up in a cafe owned by our parents and we used to work in it from being small

That's exactly what this area is for, and we'd love to see whatever you can post!

I love the Princess Belle dress! It's elegant and simple, but still gorgeous. I love the roses on it, and the cameo looks beautiful! Also love that technique of the gently "folded" parts of the dress. LOL, I don't know whether to wear it or eat it!

Just kidding, just kidding...it's beautiful!
