Welcome all new beaders!  Smiley

For those of you who really love 3D beadwork, the item in the large photo on the home page was beaded by Mariko Yamamoto of Yokohama, Japan.  If you'd like to see more of her beautiful work, her Web site is at:
http://www.beadjapan.net

The Red Tail Hawk was beaded by Susan White, member waterswaves.

Charlene,

I love that lizard!  Smiley  He really is a cutie.

Have you seen Mariko's beaded cats within the site?  That's what first introduced me to this talented artist.

DUH, I didn't realize there was anything more until I read your response.  Went back and looked again.  Neat sight.  She's very talented.

Charlene,

She is talented!  Smiley  I'm so in awe of her work.  She makes me drool with every new piece she turns out.

Very glad you saw the rest of her work!  It's absolutely amazing.  Did you see her gorilla?  He's perfect, down to the tiniest detail.

I wish I lived in Japan and could take her classes.

Her work is amazing.  You're right.  Sometimes Methuselah's age sounds good so I would have time to learn all I would like to know.  Roll Eyes

Charlene,

Methuselah, huh?  Hee hee...why am I picturing a knitting skeleton?  Grin

Glad you like Mariko's work!  I'd love to do what she does.

A very "fluffy" skeleton if you please.  I'm the giant economy size.

Charlene,

You mean a skeleton covered with Fun Fur?  Grin

What a mental image that evokes, huh?
