Parameters in final pdf

Hi there.
First off, I would like to say that I absolutely love the site. I recently picked up cross stitch again, after not having done any crafts since middle school. I have been trying out and researching a ton of pattern makers. I liked odd bits from one and odd bits from another, but nothing that would have all that I need. Then I came across yours, I was like "Yes.. Yes.. YES!" *insert wild cackling laughter here*.
I would have one suggestion, an extension to an existing feature. I love that you have the contrast, brightness and smoothness options. But when playing around with dozens of combinations to figure out which ones work best for the current type of image, I tend to forget which picture had which parameters. Perhaps the parameters could be included in the final pattern file? A small bit that would show "Colour sensitivity: 5", "Brightness: 20",  "Contrast: 10" etc.
Thank you again for providing such a wonderful tool Smiley

Hi, and thanks for your feedback!

I'm currently winding up some more server updates for future growth of the program and help handling the increased usage.

Once I finish these internal changes I'll be back to program updates.  One long-awaited feature will be the ability to do final pattern editing before printing.

There will also be an ability to save your work so you could get your settings the way you like and save them.  Then you could come back at a later date, load your settings from before, possibly make further changes, create a new pattern, and save the new settings if you like.  Time will tell if there will be limits to the number of saved "work" files.  I think this will fill the needs you mentioned.

I'll know more about when a bunch of new features will begin rolling out as soon as I finish the system upgrades but rest assured, I'm working on it on our end.

Hi Terry,
That sounds amazing, it would cover my suggestion but also so much more.
May I ask if there is an approximate timeline planned for this? I am hoping to start a pretty massive project in a few weeks, but if these updates are not too far away, I might wait just a bit, to be able to edit with the new tools coming up.
When starting a project that will likely take you years, you want to make sure the pattern is solid as possible before starting Smiley
Thanks again!

Shaleigh,
Welcome! Smile
I'm sorry to say we don't have a specific date at the moment for the new tools, so it might be a wait. The server update is the most critical thing right now, so that's occupying all programming time. Computers! Tongue Out
We're very happy you found us and are pleased you like the program. Kiss It's always great to elicit some nice cackling laughter! Laughing
