Removing Embedded Gridlines
January 18, 2020 at 1:04:09 PM
Hi All - I'm hoping someone can help!
I've bought a pattern to do a cross stitch but it is massive! I thought I could take a picture and run it through the wizard so that I can reduce the size but the gridlines are coming out on the pattern even though they are not visable to the naked eye. Does anybody know how to get rid of these or has anyone got a suggestion on how to reduce the pattern? Even using a 20 count Aida it's still too big.
Thanks in advance
Look at that smile! (Photo guaranteed unretouched)

Nettie,
Welcome!
The question that comes to mind here, if I'm understanding this correctly, is: were there grid lines on the picture you put through the freePatternWizard? If so, the software isn't set up to recognize gridlines and remove them. If not, please tell me more about your picture...is it a jpg or a gif or...? Is it very large or very small and are you attempting to use the freePatternWizard to resize it? (This is not recommended.)

You should be able to use the grid icon to remove a grid.
