I am actively crocheting a baby blanket that I want to cross stitch dinosaurs on. Most likely T-Rex, Stegosaurus and maybe Brontosaurus. I can't find any patterns I like elsewhere on the web. Any ideas? Should I create my own patterns?

Welcome!

You may want to look at sites that provide free clip art for personal use. Since you're not looking to make patterns to sell, my guess is there are people who have such clip art and would be happy to let you use it for your project.

Even better, if you can draw your own, then no need to use other people's clip art!
