Maryann,
We actually don't recommend using the Stitchboard Full Palette for yarn colors. The reason is because yarn manufacturers only make very limited numbers of colors. The Full Palette will be impossible to match to one manufacturer and type of fiber; as you know, another manufacturer may have a thinner worsted than another and you certainly don't want a project to be half wool, half acrylic!
I know the patterns look better with the Full Palette, but we actually suggest using the Stitchboard Basic Palette. With the Basic Palette you'll have a far better chance of finding generic colors that you can match to manufacturer colors.
Unfortunately, yarn manufacturers will probably never make hundreds of colors, because most of them would never sell, so they stick with the colors they believe will sell.
