Not enough colours?
September 24, 2017 at 11:40:32 AM
Hello, I have a question regarding colours.
I've uploaded a picture and received my chart. However, it seems there aren't enough shades of blue. I'm missing one shade of blue, which is returned brown. (So let's say there are 10 shades of blue in the image, but the yarn only comes in 9 shades of blue. The software returns the 10th shade as brown.)
Is there a way to fix this? Is there a work-around? Any tips?
(I've tried brightening up the picture, but there will be less detail when I do that. It didn't look good.)
I've already started my project. I quit after finding out, and haven't picked it up since. I'd really like to finish my project though.
Any help or ideas are welcome.
Thanks.

Lelie,
Welcome!
I'm not sure exactly what's happening, so please bear with me while I ask some questions.
Are you saying there is a palette that has 9 blue shades and the result is that since the freePatternWizard doesn't have a 10th blue, it's choosing brown instead? Or is there a blue that's actually missing from the palette? Which palette are you using? Or is the problem that there's a color in the palette you're selecting, but the freePatternWizard still isn't choosing it?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks.
But I just discovered it was a setting that I shouldn't have used. (I limited the amount of colours.) So you can close / delete my post.
Thanks for the quick reply though!
