Are the written crochet patterns given for left to right instructions and then turning to crochet the next row left to right also?

Hi.

It starts at the bottom on the right. It goes right to left on the bottom row.

Then it goes left to right on the row above the bottom.

Then right to left in the next row up, and so on.

Ok...just so I understand, when I get to row 2, I need to read the instructions backwards?

No, the directions are written right to left, then left to right, right to left, then left to right. So all you have to do is follow them as written.

It's only with a chart that you have to remember to read right to left, then left to right.
