Please tell me step by step. I only want  11x13 and only 5 colors. every time i upload the photo and follow directions , im still not getting a pattern. There are several things on the instruction page, that i do not understand. Please help. Thank you Grandma Kilgore

Hi and welcome!  Smile

I've alerted Terry (Support) to your questions about your problem with the Free Pattern Wizard, so you should be receiving an answer from him shortly.  In the meantime, I wanted to let you know that we like to drool here, so if you'd like to upload pictures of any work you've done, please feel free to do so!  Smile

Hi.

You really only need to do a few things.

  1. Give the program an image from which you want it to create a chart (in section 1)
  2. Let it know the stitch category (looks like crochet in your case) (in section 2)
  3. Click on the button in section 5c ("Limit the Number of Colors") and enter 5 in the blank
  4. Click on the "Let's See My Pattern" button (section 9)

So I can check into possible reasons you're having problems, could you please tell me when you do the above three steps, does it come back with a red error message?  And if so, please let me know what it says.

Knowing this will let me help more.

Thanks, and Welcome!

Terry
